The People

indieSpring is a group of young, game developers from across the world who have come together to deliver compelling and innovative game titles to the world. All in our early twenties we have grown up using the internet as a tool to experience and learn the field of game development within passionate communities and online collaborations. Our team comprises of American, British, German, Chinese, Dutch and Canadian developers and creatives.

James - The Imagination
James does the creative bit. He comes up with ideas, bounces them around and does a lot of our backstory and setting creation. He is also in charge of blogging about our progress and answering the emails from this site!

The Tools

We make extensive use of online technologies to unite game developers from across the world and collaborate in producing games we want to play. Our online collaboration and community tools stem from open source technologies and online tools such as Drupal, Wordpress, phpBB, subversion and unfuddle whilst our content and products are built upon the professional platforms of Maya, Flash, Torque, Unity and more. Having grown up engaged and switched onto a digital creative lifestyle we use the web as a platform for not only content delivery, but engagement with our audience and even as part of the games themselves.

The Goal

To create professional quality, innovative game titles across a variety of platforms, making best use of the internet as a platform of engagement.
