Having joined the team just over a year ago, Andy is currently working on a car insurance driver behaviour app, refactoring (overhauling) and updating the Apple iOS and Android versions. We managed to squeeze in time for a quick chat: What I do now… Senior Software Developer What I wanted to do when I was younger… I wanted to be a coach driver, a radio DJ and then a TV cameraman! My hidden talent is… I can play the drums a bit, and keep a good rhythm! What I love about Indiespring… I love the flexible working arrangements My chosen celebratory displate*… I chose ‘Duel’ which was made in 1971. It was Steven Spielberg’s first full length movie at the beginning of his prolific career and has long been a favourite film of mine. The main character (played by Dennis Weaver) is a middle class travelling salesman going about his business in his company car, which reminds me of my Dad when I was growing up. When a new employee joins and passes probation, as a celebration they choose a displate that represents a movie, game, tv show etc. that they love or means something to them and it is added to our displate wall of fame.
