Indiespring is centred around the people within it and every couple of weeks, we introduce you to a member of the team so you can get to know us that little bit better. Louise is coming up to three years at Indiespring and leads the way on quality assurance for our clients. Her time is spent looking after her team and making sure that stuff actually works! We cornered her for a quick 60 second chat:

What I do now…

Head of Quality Engineering

What I wanted to do when I was younger…

When I was younger I desperately wanted to be a competitive eater because I loved food; luckily my mum clocked on fairly early and stopped that one which I’m quite thankful for because I’m sure by now I’d be the size of a house!

My hidden talent is…

I don’t know if it’s a talent or not, but I am an avid collector of all things Pokemon. I have all the games, 7 (organized, of course!) complete binders of cards, a couple of collectable toys/figures and even a Pokemon tattoo! Maybe my talent is collecting them all!

What I love about Indiespring…

I love that Indiespring isn’t just a place to work, but it’s an actual vibe. Everybody gets on super well, there’s no ‘office politics’, the work we complete is fantastic and everybody takes pride in what we do. It just makes you feel good!

My chosen celebratory displate*…

I chose “They Live” by John Carpenter; it has one of my favourite quotes in any film ever which is, “I came here to chew bubblegum and kick butt*, and I’m all outta bubblegum” (*I know it doesn’t say butt, but y’know, you get the idea!)

Indiespring in one word…

*What is a celebratory displate?
At Indiespring, we’re big on traditions to unite our teams together. When a new employee joins and passes probation, as a celebration they choose a displate that represents a movie, game, tv show etc. that they love or means something to them and it is added to our displate wall of fame. It’s a great way to learn more about each other, share our interests and to celebrate our various passions.
